        Looked up Detroit-style and I like what I am seeing! My favorite pizza place does what they call a sicilian style crust. It’s thick and rectangular, with a nice spicy sauce. Fuck I want some pizza now.

        But back to my point pretty similar to Detroit style from what I am seeing

          They’re similar. Detroit style has more cheese (like a lot more) as well as the cheese usually being cheddar, blackened/carmelized sides and is a denser/chewier bread. Siccilian style pizza is closer to a sort of foccacia bread. Usually softer, mozza more often as the base cheese and has more herbs and stuff. They’re very similar but also fairly different too.
