If Elon loses his ears he can not hear. If Elon loses his nose he can not smell. If Elon loses his hand he can not touch. If Elon loses his tongue he can not taste.
Elon has lost his senses, but he can still hear, smell, touch or taste, so that must mean he can ___ ___.
Agreed, if AI can pass the bar AND the defendant’s right to a public attorney is unavailable due to resource and time constraints, then this is a whole lot better than the plea deals that some defenders are being coerced to sign without a public defender.
And let’s not kid ourselves. Most of the existing public defenders are probably using AI to support their case nowadays anyway.
