minus-squareAirportline@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up11·2 days agoWhat if I want to play Mariokart World online with my friends?
minus-squareZanathos@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up2·1 day agoThen you and your friends are accepting of the problem.
minus-squareUnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·2 days agoThat’s still just Nintendo with extra steps.
minus-squareArcaneSlime@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up10·2 days agoYeah but if the steps are piracy, then fine.
minus-squareAirportline@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 days agoI have nothing against piracy. I’m just lazy.
minus-squareUnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 days agoSure. But this is an argument for piracy far more than quality. If you’ve got the money to burn and consider emulation a hassle, you’re still buying a new Switch (tariffs pending)
minus-squareMellowYellow13@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up8·2 days agolol there are so many racing as well as cart games, and the fact you can run literally any Nintendo game on PC
minus-squareAirportline@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up7·edit-22 days agoNone of them really compare, and I’m not really interested in setting up emulation.

Oh, and since STK is FOSS, I can imagine there are some tracks as intricate as anything in modern MarioKart if not moreso, that the community around it made for it.
minus-squareAirportline@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·2 days agoSuperTuxKart is a neat indie game, but I really would not compare it to Mario Kart or try to recommend it as a substitute.
