You contradict yourself, you say it’s made on Wix, but it’s there to get users’ passwords and tokens? How would that be possible within a Wix infrastructure, and 2. how would they be able to get users’ passwords and tokens and data even if it wasn’t a Wix site? How is that even possible? Couldn’t you say the same about any website ever. The only info to sign up they ask for is an email and a password you make up, you decide, what can anyone do with that info?

      1. User registers with some email and password that he is using somewhere else. We donf know how flibbar handles logins, might be shady.

      2. Tokens generated ahen logging in with third party, or just getting the allowed data from eg. google (email, name) and use it to expand some existing database later used for scamming.

I am not saying it IS scam, but surely looks shady, claiming to be decentralized but then using wix.

        1. If it’s through a Wix infrastructure, then they wouldn’t even have access to the password; only Wix does. The same applies to logging in via Google, clearly you know nothing about the Wix infrastructure and how that would make them more trustworthy, i would rather wix my details and password than Lemmy, theres been Lemmys come and gone Wix is still standing, what you think happens to your data when the lemmy network goes down for good? its sold.
